September Music

By popular demand (by people who haven't joined Twitter yet), I'm going to post 10 or so tracks I've had in steady rotation this month. Don't have time to find links, but they're all out there if you want them. Albums that I recommend in full will be noted with a *. I'll try to put them in an order that would sound good as a mix.

September/autumn is when my need for beats usually kicks in. So this month is heavy on electronic tracks.

1. "Les Chemins De Verre" by Karkwa from Les Chemins De Verre*

2. "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)" by Arcade Fire from The Suburbs*

3. "Cousins" by Mumford & Sons (cover of a Vampire Weekend song - hypem.com is your friend)

4. "Claws Off" by Margot & the Nuclear So and So's from Buzzard* (album out this Tuesday)

5. "Toward Flight" by The Crown and Two Chairmen from An Age of Inquiry* (just released, amazing record - buy it at http://thecrownandtwochairmen.bigcartel.com/product/an-age-of-inquiry)

6. "Release Yo Delf (Prodigy remix)" by Method Man

7. "Rose Garden" by Shad from TSOL*

8. "Aquarium" by Nosaj Thing from Views/Octopus EP

9. "PBS" by Tycho from Past is Prologue*

10. "Lose My Fuse" by Muhsinah (produced by Flying Lotus) from The Oscillations: Triangle

11. "Fostercare" by Burial from 5: Five Years of Hyperdub* (also his album Untrue has been on constant repeat since it got cold out)
